Primal Rumblings is set to be a huge Generation 3-focused event as part of the Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn – Global. With many new exciting encounters, raids, and bonuses to enjoy, many players will be keen to log on at the right date and time. Here is when you can take part in the Primal Rumblings Pokemon GO event. 

Primal Rumblings Pokemon GO: When Is It?

The Primal Rumblings Pokemon GO event will start from Wednesday, 22 February at 10AM to Friday, 24 February at 10PM local time, as confirmed on the Pokemon GO blog

Along with offering 2 x XP for catching Pokemon as a bonus during the event, there will also be the following Wild encounters and raids.

Wild Encounters

During this time, players will be able to counter the following Pokemon more frequently, with some having the chance for a Shiny: 

  • Treecko (Shiny available)
  • Torchic (Shiny available)
  • Mudkip (Shiny available)
  • Wurmple (Shiny available)
  • Whismur (Shiny available)
  • Numel (Shiny available)
  • Barboach (Shiny available)
  • Grovyle
  • Combusken
  • Marshtomp
  • Absol (Shiny available)

Raids

During the Primal Rumblings Pokemon GO event, the following Pokemon will also be featured in certain levels of raids: 

  • One-Star Raids: Treecko (Shiny available), Torchic (Shiny available), Mudkip (Shiny available)
  • Three-Star Raids: Grovyle, Combusken, Marshtomp
  • Five-Star Raids: Rayquza (Shiny available)
  • Mega Raids: Latias (Shiny available), Latios (Shiny available)

If you get a Rayquza in one of these raids between Wednesday, 22 February at 10AM to Wednesday, 1 March at 10AM, it will know the featured Charged Attack - Breaking Swipe.
