If you're aching to earn a few Golden Weapon skins in Overwatch 2, then you're likely interested in how many competitive points you earn per win. Keep reading to learn how many competitive points you get per win in Overwatch 2.

Competitive Points are a type of currency that can be earned in Overwatch 2. They're separate from your Overwatch Coin currency that is reserved for buying skins and other cosmetics. In fact, Competitive Points can only be spent on one thing - Golden Weapons.

To see how many Competitive Points you already have, you'll need to head into the Heroes menu from the main title screen. Then, select any hero and click on the 'Weapons' tab at the bottom. The number of Competitive Points that you currently have will be displayed in the top left corner of the screen.

Purchasing a Golden Weapon skin will cost you 3,000 Competitive Points, so you'll need to be sure about which hero you're going to upgrade. In theory, it should be one that you play regularly to ensure that you get to view the sparkly new skin as often as possible.

Overwatch 2 Competitive Points: How Many Do You Earn Per Win?

Overwatch 2 Competitive Points can only be earned by completing competitive matches. Here is how many Competitive Points you earn per win:

  • Per Win: 15 CP
  • Per Draw: 5 CP
  • Per Loss: 0 CP

In addition, you also earn a select number of Competitive Points based on your highest rank at the end of a season. The higher your final rank, the more Competitive Points you will earn. Here is how these rewards are calculated:

  • Bronze: 65 CP
  • Silver: 125 CP
  • Gold: 250 CP
  • Platinum: 500 CP
  • Diamond: 750 CP
  • Master: 1,200 CP
  • Grandmaster: 1,750 CP

It's worth noting that your reward is only based on the single highest rank you achieve in a season. For example, if your Tank rank is Bronze while your Damage rank is Platinum, then you will only receive the Platinum rewards for the season. The rewards do not stack.

Now you know how many Competitive Points you earn per win in Overwatch 2. From this, you should be able to gauge how many matches you need to play to save up for those coveted Golden Weapons.
