How To Get The Overwatch 2 One Punch Man Skin
Four months into its lifeline and Overwatch 2 is officially getting its first-ever collaboration, as superhero manga character One Punch Man will be headed to the game. Heading into Overwatch 2 Season 2, Blizzard Entertainment has revealed that the Japanese Anime series will be teaming with the hero pool to add some punchy skins to the game, shortly after the Valentine love making is over - quite befitting for the angry singletons.
Coming as one of the leading selling points of the Overwatch 2 and One Punch Man collection will be a Saitama-inspired Doomfist skin, which is already winning players over.
So, here's how to get the Overwatch 2 One Punch Man skin.
- Here are the Overwatch 2 Season 3 patch notes.
One Punch Man Doomfist Skin Announced For Overwatch 2
Based on a superhero notorious for their single-jab fighting qualities, it's only befitting that the One Punch Man and Overwatch 2 collusion is bringing us a skin for Blizzard's own muscle man, Doomfist.
Sporting the same outfit as Saitama (One Punch Man's main character), Doomfist will be kitted out with a yellow skin-tight superhero suit, a white cape, and some typically fierce red fists.
The One Punch Man crossover event in Overwatch 2 will run from March 7 to April 6, where Doomfist's Saitama skin might just be one of many themed items.
How To Get The Overwatch 2 One Punch Man Skin
With more and more One Punch Man x Overwatch cosmetics set to be revealed on February 8, when Season 2 officially starts, the Doomfist skin won't become officially available until the event kicks off on March 7.
The Doomfist Saitama skin will come to Overwatch 2 as an event special skin to be earned through completing in-game challenges.
"We’ll reveal each item before they drop on March 7, with one being a Legendary skin that’s earnable via themed challenges," said the developers in a blog post.
It won't be revealed as to what the challenges entail until the season is launched on March 7, but you can imagine a string of separate missions will need completing before you can get your fists warmed up by the mechanical boxing gloves of Saitama.
