Cyberpunk 2077 Anime Easter Eggs: Locations From Cyberpunk Edgerunners
Cyberpunk 2077 anime easter eggs are all over the game, from new items to iconic locations. Cyberpunk 2077 had a huge update alongside the release of the Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime on Netflix. The show is closely based on the game, with locations mapped on the game's version of Night City. Here are some of the key locations from the show, with some pictures of these Cyberpunk 2077 anime easter eggs.

Cyberpunk 2077 Anime Easter Eggs: David's Apartment
Click to enlargeThis is a simple one, in the show David is shown to be living in Megabuilding H4, in Santo Domingo. This is where he lives at the beginning of the show with his mother, and players might notice how similar their place looks to V's apartment. Megabuildings are essentially prefabs, all the apartments look the same.
If you head to Megabuilding H4 and walk around the area, you might even find some of the places David can be seen walking through in the early parts of the show. Look around the building itself and you should find a familiar logo above a bin. Inside the bin is an XBD, one that will lead you to getting Cyberpunk 2077 David's jacket.
Cyberpunk 2077 Anime Easter Eggs: David's Ripperdoc
Click to enlargeNot far from where he lives, you can find the Ripperdoc David goes to with the Sandevistan. His practice is just a bit north of Megabuilding H4, beside the river. You can check your map in-game to find the Ripperdoc icon.
Something to note about this place, is that the Ripperdoc himself is no longer there. The building is exactly the same, no mistaking that it is the same place from the show. However, a different Ripperdoc operates from there. If you speak to them, V will comment on them looking a bit young for a Ripperdoc, which kind of fits considering there was a different Ripperdoc working here at least a year ago.

Cyberpunk 2077 Anime Easter Eggs: Garage Hideout
Click to enlargeThis one is a bit tricky to be sure about, as it seems like the anime creators might have changed things a bit to suit their needs. Throughout the show, David and the crew will spend a lot of time at a garage hangout, a chopshop somewhere in Santo Domingo. While the location seems to be the same, the building looks different in the anime.
Starting from the San Amaro St fast travel point in the northeast of Santo Domingo, cross the street then follow it west, toward the city. A short way along you will find the garage on the left side of the road. The building is different, but the location looks exactly the same.
Cyberpunk 2077 Anime Easter Eggs: Turbo Bar
Click to enlargeTurbo is a recurring place in Cyberpunk Edgerunners, it is a bar where the crew goes to celebrate and unwind. Over in Japantown, in the shadow of Megabuilding H8, the bar can be found just off the main road that goes along the river. At night, it is hard to miss the massive neon signs that illuminate the bar's parking lot where many of the show's parties took place.
Turbo was clearly a significant place to the Edgerunners in the show, so it is only right to go and check it out. Unfortunately, it often seems to be full of cops, but that only seems fitting for the place.
- Among the many new additions to the game since launch has been Cyberpunk 2077 Nibbles, a friendly cat you can bring home and take pictures with.
Cyberpunk 2077 Anime Easter Eggs: Afterlife
Click to enlargeAfterlife will need no explanation to any fans of Cyberpunk 2077. This nightclub is the central hub of activity in the game, and in Night City. A lot of important business is conducted in this place, both in the game and in the show. David first comes here in the early days of running with Maine and the crew, and it becomes somewhere he frequently appears later on.
This is also true for V, who makes regular appearances in the nightclub throughout the game. However, visiting now there is an extra little nod. Speak to Claire at the bar, and ask to order a drink. As you play through the game, there are some drinks added to the menu in honour of fallen friends and lost legends. If you go there now you can order a David Martinez, a shot of vodka mixed with cola, just how he would hate it.

Cyberpunk 2077 Anime Easter Eggs: Running On The Pier
Click to enlargeThe relationship between David and Lucy is the core of the show, so it only seems fitting to visit some of the places where that relationship was forged. For example, west of the city centre is a long pier. This is the place where Lucy took David to go running.
This is also one of the best examples of the attention to detail in the anime, because this largely uninteresting part of the city is recreated perfectly in the show. Standing at the end of the pier and looking back, you can see every detail repeated in the anime. You might wonder why the show's creators would choose this place, until you notice the clear view of the rocket in the distance.
Cyberpunk 2077 Anime Easter Eggs: Lucy's Apartment
Click to enlargeWe are not done with viewing rockets, and we are finishing off with one of the most important locations in the show. To find Lucy's apartment, we need to head back to Turbo. Just north of Turbo, there are some apartment buildings. Unfortunately, we cannot enter any of them. However, with great effort or maybe some cheating (I did it with great effort), we can get on top of her apartment building.
David and Lucy would sit on the roof and look out over the city, specifically Lucy would look to the rockets taking off in the distance. From this roof, you have an amazing view of the city and out to the sea.
