For Zelda fans, there will be two realities. The one they lived before they played Tears of the Kingdom, and the one they will live after they've played Tears of the Kingdom.

The sequel to Breath of the Wild is set to be pretty massive, after the game made history by standing as the series' most popular title and inspiring almost every single open-world game that followed it.

Fans can barely contain their excitement, and are now returning to the first game to uncover all of the secrets they may have missed - but one player, in particular, has had their sights set on a different goal by creating a real masterpiece in the process.

Minecraft Player Recreates Hyrule Castle

One Zelda fan has managed to construct Breath of the Wild's Hyrule Castle in Minecraft, and it truly is a thing of beauty.

We've seen Hyrule Castle a few times in the Zelda series (much as we have Peach's Castle in the Mario series) but Breath of the Wild's version immediately became the most iconic - and this loving, laborious recreation proves how attached some fans have become.

Zainncraft's tour of his immense build has attracted fans of both games far and wide to the creator's PlanetMinecraft page, which reveals that the build has been in the works for three whole years.

The map already has 130 downloads today alone, only going live yesterday, and it's bound to pick up some serious traction in the meantime.

Minecraft's Hyrule Castle Started On The PS4

The Planet Minecraft page for the map reveals that the Hyrule Castle build has been in the works for some time, and that it actually began on the PS4 version of Minecraft, which may come as a surprise to Minecraft players who struggle to build outside of the original PC build.

The creator began on the console before scrapping a few attempts due to ill-concieved proportions, and finally finished the project on PC.

It's a seriously impressive build, and with another player pledging to recreate the entire game in Minecraft, it's clear that the sandbox game is the place for players to go to put their excitement and creativity. Brace yourselves for the map onslaught that will come with the launch of Tears of the Kingdom.
