The upcoming Ubisoft Forward seems to be Ubisoft's reminder to the world why it's still a huge developer to this day.

The event is expected to offer some pretty massive reveals, but most crucially for many, the showcase will be unveiling "the future of Assassin's Creed" - and so far, there are a few things that we know about this prospective future.

We know that the next game in the series will be Assassin's Creed Mirage, and according to another leak, we're also set to get two games featuring samurai and witches (no, really). It's a good time to be an Assassin's Creed fan, and if you're interested in tuning into the event, then there's good news, as you can bag some free DLC in the process.

If you were going to be tuning in to see what's next for Ubisoft anyway, then you're in luck - because Ubisoft has confirmed that tuning into the stream for set amounts of time will make you eligible for free DLC for a whole host of Ubisoft games, including Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

If you watch the stream on Twitch, you can become eligible for Twitch drop rewards, which are detailed on the Ubisoft website as follows:

  • Watch for 15 minutes to earn the Skull and Bones Emblem in Skull and Bones
  • Watch for 30 minutes to earn the Explosive Detail Charm in Rainbow Six Siege
  • Watch for 45 minutes to earn the RC22 Original Cosmetic in Roller Champions
  • Watch for 60 minutes to earn the Sphinx Tattoo Set in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

It's great news for fans, as it means they'll be getting something out of it during the stream - now we just need to find someone still playing Roller Champions.

When Is The Ubisoft Forward Event?

If you fancy watching the future of Assassin's Creed unfold before your very eyes, or you just want to bag some new cosmetics, then you're in luck - because the event isn't far off at all.

The presentation will take place on Wednesday 10 September, at 20:00 in the UK.

We're excited to see what Ubisoft has planned, and who knows, maybe the video game industry could be in for a big shake-up.
