Cyberpunk 2077's legacy is a pretty stained one, but at least it has come around and sorted itself out a bit.

The launch of the game is one of the most catastrophic in recent years, as we saw the game that was supposed to redefine the RPG genre reveal itself to be so broken that PlayStation didn't feel comfortable hosting it on their store. It brought chaos to the gaming industry, but ever since CD PROJEKT RED has seemed dedicated to ironing out the kinks - and for the most part, they have.

And now, new DLC has been revealed to be coming next year, and it contains the thing we've been waiting for. More Keanu Reeves.

Cyberpunk 2077 Reveals New Story DLC

CD PROJEKT RED has revealed a new DLC set to come to Cyberpunk 2077 next year, titled Phantom Liberty. The announcement has come with a trailer that takes players through the new region for players to explore, along with a whole host of new characters.

The DLC was announced in a new blog post on the Cyberpunk site, unveiling the trailer and revealing that the DLC will have a spy-thriller approach.

Plus, along with the new areas to poke around in and commit espionage in, we get a new voiceover from Johnny Silverhand, the fan-favourite character built in Keanu Reeves' image. Keanu is a surprisingly big draw for the game, and it's good to see him back take up the badass role once again. And it's not just us who's glad to see Johnny back.

Keanu Reeves Is Excited To Be Back In Cyberpunk 2077

Keanu Reeves himself seems pretty glad to be back in the saddle as Johnny Silverhand, helping to bring the world of Cyberpunk 2077 to life once again.

"It's awesome to be back playing the role of Johnny," he said, "and I hope you're excited to see him rocking out once more in the dark future. Keep an eye out for more info, and I'll see you again… in Night City."

It's good to see him back, and hopefully, Johnny Silverhand will be able to steer Cyberpunk 2077 to a launch that isn't… y'know… a complete catastrophe.
