Cyberpunk 2077 is bouncing back. Who'd have thought they could manage it, eh? The game had a launch that was a true catastrophe for the ages, meaning the potential that lay in Cyberpunk 2077 was cast to the wind.

It was a trainwreck that gaming fans simply couldn't look away from - but even so, some players jumped into Night City and had a great time in its neon-drenched alleyways and highways. And as it turns out, gamers being reluctant to engage with the sci-fi shooter has left some Easter eggs undiscovered. Some have only just discovered an Easter egg that references a TV modern classic.

Where Is The Breaking Bad Easter Egg In Cyberpunk 2077?

On their adventures across a now-mostly-fixed Night City, fans have been exploring Cyberpunk 2077 and discovering what the game actually has to offer. One player has unearthed what seems to be a reference to Breaking Bad.

Posting to the Cyberpunk 2077 subreddit, one user has discovered a full pizza and an open pizza box sat on the roof of a building. It seems to be a reference to the episode of Breaking Bad in which Walter has a meltdown, and out of rage, throws a pizza that somehow manages to land on the roof of his house.

Cyberpunk Also Hides A Reference To The Office

Interestingly, the Easter eggs don't end here, as others have discovered references to The Office too. It seems that Night City packs plenty of secrets that reference our world of pop culture, as players have also managed to identify a direct reference to the US version of the sitcom.

At the end of the Big In Japan side mission, you can stick around to listen to Dennis and Haruyoshi have a conversation about accidentally killing a boss of the Tyger Claw on the operating table - which actually turns out to be a complete beat-for-beat rip of a gag from the show, as discovered by Reddit user Racketygecko.

Gaming fans might also have spotted a Half-Life 3 Easter egg out there on those neon-splashed streets.  Though Cyberpunk has plenty of references to our world, it's probably safe to assume that Night City is a world entirely separate from our own - unless it's a grim peek into our future. We certainly hope it isn't.
