Vanguard Small Map Mayhem is here for those that love to get stuck right in the action. Call of Duty Vanguard has been out in the wild for a couple of weeks now, and Sledgehammer Games has begun to introduce new limited time modes and playlists. The latest is Small Map Mayhem which has joined the Big Map Blitz. For those of you wondering what this may entail, we're here to explain just what Vanguard Small Map Mayhem is, along with what maps and modes it includes.

Vanguard Small Map Mayhem: What Is It?

Vanguard Small Map Mayhem is the latest limited time mode to bless Call of Duty Vanguard. The official description tags it as "Blitz and Assault pacing for Team Deathmatch and Domination modes on small maps". The Blitz and Assault pacing vary the size of matches, with Assault being your more typical Call of Duty experience with some room to breath, and Blitz being the more chaotic and target-filled version. Each match of Vanguard Small Map Mayhem will switch pacing types, which will change the size of the team from anywhere between 6v6 and 12v12. This selection excludes Tactical pacing which leans into a more tense and calculated match. Essentially if you want high kill game modes crammed into small maps, Vanguard Small Map Mayhem is for you.

Vanguard Small Map Mayhem: What Maps Does It Include?

Vanguard Small Map Mayhem features some of the tightest and chaotic maps in Vanguard roster. Expect to see maps like Dome, Eagle's Nest, and the recently added Shipment show up. These smaller maps and chaotic modes are great ways to level up some of your favourite weapons, as even a poorly played game is going to bag you a good few kills. Here's a full list of all the maps featured in Vanguard Small Map Mayhem:
