This MW2 weapon tier list breaks all 41 Primary weapons into separate tiers based on how they perform on the battlefield. Modern Warfare 2 features an enormous arsenal of guns, so tier lists exist to give players a basic idea of the best guns to arm themselves with. S Tier
Click to enlargeS Tier is reserved for the best of the best on the Modern Warfare 2 weapon list. These five guns are the MW2 meta weapons and see consistent use by Call of Duty League pros. The Kastov-74u, in particular, is so good that professional players have made a gentleman's agreement not to use it in competitive play.
Be sure to have at least a couple of Custom Loadouts featuring these S Tier weapons for when things get serious.
