Apex Legends Spellbound Collection Event: Dates And Times

The Apex Legends Spellbound Collection Event begins January 10, 2023, and runs until January 24, 2023.

Apex Legends Spellbound Collection Event: Collection Event Cosmetics

As you'd expect, The Spellbound Collection Event features 24 limited-time cosmetics, all of which share a magic-like aesthetic. Highlights of the set include Legendary Skins for Vantage, Seer, Mad Maggie, and Mirage.

These items will be available under the Seasonal Collection tab for Apex Coins, Apex Legends Crafting Metals, or inside Spellbound Event Apex Packs.

During the Spellbound Collection Event, the in-game Store will be inundated with various limited-time offers that will rotate throughout the duration of the Event.

Apex Legends Spellbound Collection Event: Seer Heirloom - The Showstoppers

Amass all 24 of the Spellbound Collection Event items to automatically unlock The Showstoppers, Seer's brand-new Heirloom. The Showstoppers are a pair of sickles that Seer can manipulate to his will.

Apex Legends Spellbound Collection Event: Free Prize Track

Apex Legends players that prefer to clutch their wallets tight during these Collection Events will still have the free prize track to look forward to. This particular reward tracker includes Skins for Lifeline, the Prowler, and the Eva-8, among other goodies.

You can earn up to 1,600 points per day to advance through the prize track. Points are accumulated by completing challenges that refresh daily. These challenges stack with the Battle Pass too, so you can take on multiple challenges simultaneously.

For the first time ever, Apex Legends private matches are available to the general public. Before, only approved Tournament Organisers could create private matches.

The popular Apex Legends Control limited-time mode (LTM) is back with the Spellbound Collection Event. Control is a nine vs. nine battle to control Zones and features infinite respawns. Control will be available on the following maps:

  • Storm Point: Barometer
  • World's Edge: Lava Syphon
  • Olympus: Hammond Labs

This revised variant of Control includes a series of quality-of-life updates to make the LTM a better overall experience.

Apex Legends Spellbound Collection Event: Balance Adjustments

Last but not least, the Spellbound Collection Event will introduce some minor balance adjustments and bug fixes for Apex Legends. Check out the patch notes below:

  • Crafting Rotation
    • G7 Scout enters the crafter
    • C.A.R. SMG enters the crafter
    • Spitfire returns to the floor
    • Peacekeeper returns to the floor
  • Anvil Receiver Hop-Up
    • Limb damage multiplier reduced to 0.75 (was 0.9)
    • Flatline damage reduced to 39 (was 43)
    • R301 damage reduced to 32 (was 35)
  • G7 Scout 
    • Damage reduced to 32 (was 34)
  • Prowler Burst PDW
    • Damage increased to 15 (was 14)
  • Sentinel 
    • Now requires one Shield Cell to Energise (was 2)
