After releasing their entire roster following their successful debut season in Rocket League esports, Vodafone Giants have officially acquired the former Team Queso roster.

Despite being heavily rumoured to be splitting up, the trio of Raúl "DmentZa" Palazuelos, Diego "VK-Sailen" Isla Serrano, and Sergio "AtomiK" Pérez Cortés laid their rostermania rumours to bed by confirming they will be sticking together for the new season.

Vodafone Giants have now snatched at the chance of keeping their Spanish core by snapping up the former cheesy trio.

Since forming the roster and signing for Team Queso, the trio have quickly become one of the more promising rosters in the scene, having learnt from one of the greats of the game in Marius "gReazymeister" Ranheim.

Having been only one of five teams to win a European regional event in the entire RLCS X season, thanks to Team BDS' dominant five-peat, Team Queso went on to secure an overall 3rd-4th placed finish, topping off a remarkable journey.

As for Giants' former roster, they managed just one runner-up medal all season, despite being one of the more exciting teams to watch. Now, the duo of Amine "Itachi" Benayachi and Marc "Stake" Bosch have added flamboyant dynamo Maëllo "AztraL" Ernst to their ranks, signing with Karmine Corp.

The new-look Giants roster is one of the first to lock in for the upcoming season, although it won't be easy peasy, lemon... cheesy...
