It's been a long time coming, but after endless fan-made graphics being poured onto Reddit, Psyonix and Epic Games have finally taken notice of their community and added a much-needed flair to Rocket League: RLCS-based goal explosions.

The developing duo of Psyonix and Epic Games have done tremendously in adapting to their ever-growing competitive community after changing the format of the Rocket League Championship Series in season X to tailor towards the multitude of Tier 1 organisations flocking into the scene.

After re-jigging the layout of the esports league slightly to enhance a viewer's experience in Season 2021-22, the devs rolled out RLCS Decals, including home and away strips, for fans to sport their favourite teams' looks in-game. Now, fans can even shove their favourite team's logo down the throats of their opponents in-game too, as brand-new goal explosions have finally been added.

RLCS Goal Explosions Added To Rocket League

Whether you're a long-time lover of Dignitas, NRG, and Vitality, or were introduced to Rocket League in recent years when FaZe Clan, Version1, and Karmine Corp moved into the space, you'll now be able to wave the banner of your chosen side every time you score.

Rocket League's RLCS goal explosions are landing on June 22 to celebrate the upcoming Spring Major. The explosions will come into play every time you score, blowing up in the lobbies' faces.

All of the chosen explosions are available in the esports shop for 500 credits each - much like the car decals.

Which RLCS Teams Got Goal Explosions?

Not every organisation in the esports scene got decals though, with the likes of Team Falcons (MENA's beloved representatives), PWR, and Team Liquid not being included.

In total, 19 RLCS teams have been awarded goal explosions, eight each from North America and Europe, two from Oceania, and one from South America.

Europe

  • Dignitas
  • Endpoint
  • Evil Geniuses
  • Karmine Corp
  • Misfits Gaming
  • SMPR Esports
  • Team BDS
  • Team Vitality

North America

  • Complexity
  • Envy
  • FaZe Clan
  • G2 Esports
  • Ghost Gaming
  • NRG
  • Spacestation Gaming
  • Version1

Oceania

  • Ground Zero Gaming
  • Renegades

South America

  • FURIA

Unfortunately for Spring Major attendees like Team Falcons, EU leaders Moist Esports, and Gaimin Gladiators, you might have to wait a while for your teams' additions, although World Championships' qualification might spur the devs on to sprinkle some more RLCS love in Rocket League.
