New 2D Metroid, Metroid Dread, Announced
New Metroid Game, Metroid Dread, announced

The first 2D Metroid title in some time has just been announced as part of Nintendo's E3 direct. The new title, Metroid Dread, is coming to the Nintendo Switch on August 10 2021, and looks to feature some similar elements to Metroid: Samus Returns, the exciting reboot that went straight to the 3DS console.

Here is the game's official trailer:

On the same day as release, an amiibo set featuring Samus and the E.M.M.I bot will release too.
