As part of Nintendo's E3 Direct, new footage has been shared of the sequel to the critical smash The Legends of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The game is set on floating isles above a Hyrule in peril, expanding the game world even further. The game looks to be a step above its predecessor, and will continue the story of Breath of the Wild effortlessly.

The game is still untitled, but it is aiming for a 2022 release.

Here's the gameplay that Nintendo has revealed:

After the footage was shown, Nintendo said: "So, what did you think? This time around the setting for the adventure has been expanded to include the skies above Hyrule. We'd like to ask you to wait a bit longer. We're aiming for a 2022 release, so I hope you'll look forward to it."
