Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag is one of Call of Duty's most high-profile contributors and helped pioneer the esports scene for many years whilst at OpTic Gaming. The former McDonald's worker traded his grease apron for an X Games gold medal, and has been on the straight path towards stardom ever since.

Recently, Nade has been found getting hands-on with the LA Thieves roster, pouncing on the chance to snatch up Call of Duty World Champion Cuyler "Huke" Garland. Coming in to join the exuberant young roster, Huke the Nuke is now a part of the 100 Thieves organisation, carrying the flame that was first ignited by Nade.

However, Nade has made a bold claim against the title which he helped grow, admitting that Halo was the title that got him into gaming.

With this in mind, the 100 Thieves owner has claimed that "I think that a Halo battle royale might be the best BR ever made. I truly believe that"

Nadeshot's Claim Towards A Halo Battle Royale

Accompanying the OpTic Gaming gang of Hector "H3CZ" Rodriguez, Seth "Scump" Abner, and Davis "Hitch" Edwards on a podcast, Nadeshot admitted that "Halo 2 was the first game that I was addicted too" which was swiftly agreed upon by both Scump and Hitch. OpTic's own Matthew "FormaL" Piper and Nick "Maniac" Kershner were professionals on the Halo too, who was also in attendance of the podcast.

Nade continued to discuss the potential Halo battle royale, saying "You have regenerative shields and over shields, active camo, like that s**t would be fire".

The statement from Nadeshot insinuates that the former CDL professional believes that a Halo Infinite battle royale could be better than Warzone, Fortnite, Apex Legends, PUBG, and even the rumoured Battlefield BR that is in the works.

Nadeshot's Concerns about Halo Infinite

Despite the bold claims, Nadeshot expressed his concerns about the title too. He said, "They've spent a lot of money on this game and it keeps getting delayed. If this game flops, argh."

"Halo MCC [Master Chief Collection], to me, was the biggest failure of a video game release, ever. Ever. I mean, they brought back a game franchise that everybody loved, all in one package, and it didn't work for a year and a half. Now, if Halo Infinite fails..."

Finally, Scump also chimed in to say that he would prefer if "they delay it and really polish it, rather than release it preemptively and it be a let down".

Halo Infinite is set for a release in "Fall 2021", around the time of Call of Duty: Vanguard, and Battlefield VI, adding extra spice to the battle of the BRs.
