Halo Infinite's Forge mode is letting down a lot of players. Mostly by refusing to launch. The mode is a huge draw for the shooter series - letting players grab the opportunity to create their own maps and game modes while truly running away with it.

Forge is what made the early days of Xbox Live in Halo 3 so special, and it defined the game for so many players - but a year after the game's launch, Halo Infinite's Forge isn't finished. Thankfully, that hasn't stopped players from cracking their way in and building some impressive creations.

Halo Creator Replicates Ocarina of Time's Kokiri Forest

One Halo fan has broken into Halo Infinite's mostly inaccessible Forge mode to prove how ready it is for public consumption. The OP has recreated an iconic gaming location that doesn't even slightly suit Halo. But then again, we suppose that proves the potential of the Forge better than anything else.

YouTuber Red Nomster has been hard at work on Forge creations ever since the Forge from Infinite was cracked, and this is certainly one of their best, faithfully bringing the Kokiri Forest from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time to life.

The location's lighting effects and water look absolutely stunning, and truly don't appear like they were build using Forge. This more than proves the capabilities that lie in the mode, which make it even more disappointing that Forge is still MIA. All we need now is for it to officially launch, and we'll be able to cut around in it ourselves.

Halo Forge Creator Has Built More Incredible Recreations

It's not just the gorgeous forest that Red Nomster has worked on, with videos showing off their other amazing creations. They have made their own creations, like an underwater exploration level, as well as recreating Andy's bedroom from Toy Story. We previously covered how they brought The Lords of the Rings' Hobbiton to life in Forge.

Red Nomster has become something of a forgemaster - impressive as it isn't even out yet. How much longer until they start taking fan requests? We'd love to see the Dunder Mifflin office from The Office. These maps are incredibly detailed and serve as a testament to the endlessness of the Forge. When it eventually releases, we can't wait to put our creativity to the test and get building.
