The Call of Duty community has launched full-scale black-ops warfare against TSMFTX's Ali "Myth" Kabbani, after the streamer called out controller esports professionals - claiming that the use of aim assist will mean that no controller player will ever be ranked in his top ten esports players of all time.

Myth's bold claims instantly rattled the community, who felt like Damon "Karma" Barlow, Ian "Crimsix" Porter, Seth "Scump" Abner, and James "Clayster" Eubanks all had a claim to be included in a prestigious, yet fictional, ranking system.

The statement from Myth came after Herschel "Guy" Beahm IV, aka Dr DisRespect, stirred the pot with the taunt "Without your aim assist, you ain’t nothin". The former Fortnite competitor turned VALORANT streamer then got his fishing rod out to bait the entirety of console gamers.

Typical of the Call of Duty gameplay, the top calibre players flooded into the enemy territory, firing shots at the mouse and keyboard community, especially with many of the greatest controller players also excelling on the qwerty pads.

Crimsix abruptly opened the barrage of bombs headed in Myth's direction with a very non-writable phrase, expressing his complete disregard of the streamers' claims.

In a slightly less tasteless manner, Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag claimed that the likes of Scump and Karma could have been just as successful on keyboards than they are with controllers.

Nade's argument was also reinforced by many people who pointed out that Scump was once in the elite ranks of Counter-Strike, whilst his T2P teammate, Matthew "FormaL" Piper and many more are ranked above Myth in his native VALORANT.

Clayster also took to Reddit to claim "I was playing with Spencer "Hiko" Martin consistently and we beat Tyson "TenZ" Ngo's team 2 out of 3 teams we matched. There's a bunch of CoD pros that could be pro at MnK games if they actually put their full effort into it". Hiko recently reached the semi-finals of the VALORANT Champions Tour Stage 3 Masters with 100 Thieves, whilst TenZ's Sentinels went back-to-back as championship winners in Stage 1 and 2.

Even the Call of Duty League itself chimed in, stirring the pot further.

The argument of who is superior between mouse and keyboard players and those on controllers will be one argument that will never be settled, although it would seem unfair to rule out those on consoles by claiming that aim assist is their number one reason for success.

Myth did apologise for his debacle soon after, admitting he isn't qualified to make this assumption, although the aftermath was still unfolding.
