As the host of Blackout, Black Ops 4 is arguably one of the best games that Call of Duty has ever seen - albeit ending the futuristic era and introducing battle royales.

Even now, despite being four years old, Black Ops 4 still has a rather active fan base. It's all thanks to Blackout, where the typically Treyarch map has seen a resurgence in popularity in the last few months.

But not for the last few days at least, as the Black Ops 4 servers are down and Treyarch have been silent on the matter.

Black Ops 4 Servers Have Crashed

Treyarch dips its hands into every Call of Duty pie. It just released Modern Warfare 2 Ranked play and is now developing Warzone 2 Ranked alongside its 2024 title (with a huge focus on Zombies).

Sadly, it seems that Treyarch has forgotten about its own old games. PC Players have reported that the Black Ops 4 servers have been down for days, and there are no signs of them coming back on anytime soon.

It appears that the PC servers have been down since Tuesday, February 15, and the devs haven't offered up a slither of information as to when the game will be up and running again.

Treyarch Is Silent On Black Ops 4 Server Crashes

After confessing that Black Ops 4 on PC is "experiencing technical issues and may appear offline," Treyarch has deployed two minor updates, but to no avail.

It's expected that the issues stem from Black Ops 4's main money source: the Black Market. Players have been unable to access this microtransaction hub for quite some time now, and Activision is likely keen to get this revenue flow rolling again.

While the developers have only offered to "rectify the issue" with no timeline, it's likely that the servers could be down for a few more days - especially given that most of their focus is being pulled towards the current Ranked work.
