All MW2 DMZ Spawn Locations
MW2 DMZ all spawn locations are not created equally, as you will quickly learn after a few matches. MW2 DMZ drops players onto a large, open map with some specific spawn points dotted around. These spawn locations are spread across the map, with some being in more advantageous positions than others. Here are all of the MW2 DMZ spawn locations.

MW2 DMZ Spawn Locations: All Spawn Points
Click to enlargeThere are twenty-six potential spawn locations in the DMZ where you and your team can be dropped in. The above image shows each location, but here is the full list of spawn points;
- North of Taraq Village, west of the river
- Northeast of Taraq Village, east of the river
- East of Taraq Village, north of the main road
- West of Rohan Oil, across the main road
- North of Rohan Oil
- East of Rohan Oil, South of Taraq Village
- Centre of Al Mazrah City, the eastern side of the river
- Northeast of Al Mazrah City, near the border of the map
- Northwest of Quarry, near the edge of the map
- East of Quarry, near the hills
- West of Hydroelectric
- Northeast of Hydroelectric
- East of Marshlands, on the western end of the bridge
- Northeast of Marshlands, southwest of Al Mazrah City
- Northwest of Port, on the pier
- Northeast of Port, just off the main road going north
- Southeast of Port, west of the bridge going south
- West of Sawah Village, on the western side of the island
- South of Sawah Village, on the southern coast
- Southeast of Sawah Village, on the coast south of the bridge
- South of Sarif Bay, the southern tip of the island
- South of Airport, on the outskirts near the southern end of the runway
- East of Airport, the corner before the runway goes out to sea
- East of Ahkdar Village and north of Airport, on the bridge over the river
- East of Al Sharim Pass, on the eastern border of the map

MW2 DMZ Spawn Locations: Which Ones Are Best?
Click to enlargeMW2 DMZ is not the kind of game that allows you to choose where you spawn, you are not dropping from a plane like in Warzone so you need to work with what you are given. Some spawn points are preferable to others, based on their potential proximity to other players and the position in which it puts you.
In short, spawn locations that keep you out of the line of sight of other players are better, they give you a chance to get into the game properly without immediately getting sniped, or having to scramble for cover. Thanks to the excellent work of u/FluffyPlays22 on Reddit, we have a breakdown of which spawn locations are safe, and which are more dangerous.
As such, the spawn locations you don't want to see are the ones around the Port, as well as Sawah Village, the Airport, and the ones north of Taraq Village. If you or your team ever start a match in these areas, your first priority should be to move to a safer location.
Ideally, you want to spawn in at Al Mazrah City or around the Hydroelectric dam. The spawn points in those areas keep you out of sight and give you a much better start. The various other points are not much worse but can lead to skirmishes with other players early on.
