Best TAQ-56 Loadout MW2: Attachments
As is the expectation of Assault Rifles, you're going to want to create a balance of mobility and control with the TAQ-56 attachments, as you want to be able to take fights across both short and mid ranges.
Therefore, it is all about creating a balance of recoil-reducing attachments, but paying close attention to not reduce the aim-down-sights speed and player mobility too much. The TAQ-56 is already a fairly low-recoil gun, with one of its biggest strengths coming from the minimal horizontal recoil, so you won't have to do too much.
Here's our choice for the attachments in the MW2 best TAQ-56 loadout:
- Barrel - 14.5" Tundra Pro Barrel
- Optic - Cronen Mini Red Dot
- Rear Grip - Demo Cleanshot Grip
- Underbarrel - VX Pineapple
- Muzzle - RF Crown 50
This should give you a good balance of handling and accuracy, allowing you to still be quick on the battlefield, but also be able to take down targets from further away. There are a couple of things you can tweak if you still feel as if it's not quick enough, but generally, the attachment setup above is a really great option to go for.
Opting for the VX Pineapple and the RF Crown 50 gives you an incredible boost to the recoil dampening, but that does obviously come at a cost to your handling and mobility. That is why we've gone for the Demo Cleanshot Grip as opposed to the initially more favourable FSS Combat Grip, as it will help counteract that negative mobility debuff.
If you're wanting the gun to be a bit faster though, you could swap the VX Pineapple out for the Demo IMP-44 Grip, the RF Crown 50 for the Dark KX30, and then the Demo Cleanshot Grip for the FSS Combat Grip.
The question of optics is always going to come down to preference, but the general consensus is that the Cronen Mini is the best optic in the game - at least in the 1X category. You could opt for the iron sights - as they are certainly usable, but they do also become prone to the bounce of the gun, and can become obstructed easily by muzzle smoke too. Of course, if you do decide to go for iron sights though, that's one more attachment slot free, which can help you further optimise the weapon, so it is up to you.

Best TAQ-56 Loadout MW2: Perks And Equipment
The perk selection for the MW2 best TAQ-56 loadout won't be too dissimilar from your standard Assault Rifle package, but you will need to climb the levels a bit to make full use of the options available.
Here are the best perks to use with the TAQ-56:
- Slot One: Double Time
- Slot Two: Tracker
- Bonus Perk: Fast Hands/Focus
- Ultimate Perk: Quick Fix
- Field Upgrade: Battle Rage/Dead Silence
For some of the options, we've provided a lower-level equivalent as the optimal setup requires you to reach some of the higher ranks. Double Time and Tracker will be perfect for the constantly-moving gameplay of Modern Warfare 2, giving you the ability to follow enemies' movements, and the speed to catch up to them.
Focus is a fantastic option for pretty much every gunfight, especially with a lower recoil gun like the TAQ-56, as it keeps your aim on point, but Fast Hands is a great substitute until you reach the level 50 requirement. Quick Fix does require you to get to level 44, but it is well worth the wait due to the health boost, which will keep you in the fight as more enemies pile onto you.
Finally, it is no surprise that Dead Silence is once again the go-to choice for the Field Upgrade, as you really can't get much better than the stealth that it brings. Battle Rage is a good placeholder though, as it will help you survive that tiny bit extra.
In terms of equipment though, you really can't go wrong with whatever you feel works best for you. A pistol is a no-brainer, and the X13 is probably the best of the bunch, but you could also opt for the X12 if you feel more comfortable with a single shot. The Drill Charge is arguably the meta Lethal at the moment, as it works really well at flushing enemies out of a space, and the Stun, Flash, or Stim will all work brilliantly in the Tactical spot too.
