The Lachmann-556 is quite a versatile assault rifle, quite a bit faster than the M4 yet slower than something like the Kastov-74u. So, finding that nice Goldilocks-esque balance in the perks is vital for the Lachmann-556 to find some sort of foothold in the meta. For perks, you'll be fancying Double Time and Scavenger for your first slot, while Fast Hands might benefit you more than Focus in your second perk category. Quick Fix is the new go-to in the ultimate perk category after being pushed up from slot two, edging out Ghost.

As for the rest of your arsenal, don't be the rocket launcher person, please, opt for a nice and easy X13, that will have you protected for finishing kills. You can't go wrong with a Frag and a Flash either this year, although the drill charges are proving quite beneficial to catch campers unaware too. Finally, the buffed Dead Silence is your best field upgrade.
