Where To Find Giant Snowballs In Fortnite
Click to enlargeIf you don't know how Giant Snowballs work in Fortnite, you may assume you need to find these oversized balls of snow somewhere on the Island. However, Giant Snowballs are actually man-made.
To make a Giant Snowball in Fortnite, you must have access to snow. Use your Pickaxe and swing away at the snowpack. As you smack the snow, a ball will form, and eventually, it'll get big enough to where it's considered "Giant".
If you see a Giant Snowball sitting around and you didn't pile the snow up yourself, that means another player is either hiding in it currently or built it and then abandoned it.

How To Hide In A Giant Snowball In Fortnite
Click to enlargeTo hide in a Giant Snowball, get up next to a snowball at its max size and interact with it. Your character will then leap inside the Giant Snowball and hide away until it breaks or you decide to come out.
You can't move the Giant Snowball once you get inside, so if you want to use it to get away or launch a surprise attack on enemies, it's a good idea to build one next to a decline and hit it with your Pickaxe to give it some momentum before hiding.

Where To Find Frosty Firs, Brutal Bastion, And Lonely Labs In Fortnite
Click to enlargeWhile you can create Giant Snowballs anywhere in the Snow Biome, you must hide in them at specific locations to complete the Winterfest 2022 Quest. Specifically, you need to hide in a Giant Snowball at Frosty Firs, Brutal Bastion, and Lonely Labs.
Brutal Bastion and Lonely Labs are no-brainers, as these Points of Interest are labelled clearly on the map. Frosty Firs, on the other hand, is a Landmark, so it's not nearly as easy to find.
To locate Frosty Firs, travel north-west of Brutal Bastion. Frosty Firs sits east of Cold Cavern, beside The Stone Tower.
With that, you have everything you need to hide in a Giant Snowball in Fortnite. Build Giant Snowballs at Frosty Firs, Brutal Bastion, and Lonely Labs and hide in them to get a substantial 16K XP toward the Chapter 4 Season 1 Battle Pass and your Season Level.
