Do you want to know how to enable Japanese voices in Fire Emblem Engage? The debate between dub vs sub will run for eternity, but it's a blessing that Fire Emblem Engage features both English and Japanese voices. Here's how to change the vocal performances of the characters to fit your preference in Fire Emblem Engage.

  • Fire Emblem Engage had a relatively positive response from critics and fans on its release. What do you think?

Changing the vocal language in Fire Emblem Engage from the default English to Japanese is a fairly easy task. However, you'll need to leave your current game and go back to the main menu to perform it. Choose "Options" and then choose "Change Language." From there, you can alter the text and voices of the game. Head down to the voice section and move right on the D-Pad or thumbstick to select "Japanese."

Unfortunately, only English and Japanese are supported. However, there are languages represented through the "Text" option. They include the following in Fire Emblem Engage:

  • English (North American and Europe)
  • Spanish (Latin America and Europe)
  • French (Europe)
  • Italian
  • German
  • Simplified Chinese
  • Traditional Chinese
  • Korean
  • Japanese

Be careful and avoid the "Delete" option. You don't want to miss your progress in this mainline game of the Fire Emblem series. Just as long as you miss that delete button, it's valuable to have the choice between English and Japanese unlike other JRPGs, such as Kingdom Hearts 3.

  • Once you finish Fire Emblem Engage, you might want to look forward to another 2023 JRPG Final Fantasy 16.
