Gathering materials is sort of the bread and butter of Disney Dreamlight Valley, as you’ll spend the majority of your time gathering resources to further build your world. Whether it be for quests, crafting, or even just to clean up the landscape - you’ll be hard-pressed to go any length of time without gathering.

Sometimes you’ll need to grab something a bit trickier due to its rarity, and one such offender is Rich Soil. This elusive commodity has a number of uses, but will perhaps be more commonly known for completing the quest Nature and Nature for Scar. It can be mind-boggling trying to track this down, but thankfully, we have everything you need to know about gathering Rich Soil in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Unlike normal soil, Rich Soil is a little tougher to come across in Disney Dreamlight Valley. While you may already have some in your inventory, it’s possible to be confused as to where it actually came from. That’s because Rich Soil has a tendency to drop in rare circumstances that you may not have initially noticed.

In order to find Rich Soil in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’re going to want to harvest as many crops as possible. The reason being is that Rich Soil randomly drops while harvesting, and if you’ve been growing crops for quests or ingredients, you may have already stumbled across some already.

A surefire way of pinching some Rich Soil in Disney Dreamlight Valley is by creating a patch of land specifically for cultivating. Your best bet is to use Wheat, as it has an incredibly quick growth time and will allow you to quickly grow, harvest, and possibly come into possession of Rich Soil whilst tending to your land. Simply plant the Wheat, nurture it to full growth, and harvest when complete. Every now and again, you will stumble into some Rich Soil in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
