Destiny 2 Hierarchy of Needs is a new exotic bow with some interesting effects. Destiny 2 is gearing up for another big expansion, but we still have a dungeon's worth of content to get through. Hierarchy of Needs is an exotic reward from the new dungeon, and it is something players will want to grind for. Here is everything you need to know about Destiny 2 Hierarchy of Needs.

As mentioned, Hierarchy of Needs is an exotic bow, and a Solar one at that. The bow is massive, basically a big sheet of metal with a string across it. It is certainly one of the more interesting-looking weapons in the game, and also has some of the most interesting abilities. The exotic perk is called Guidance Ring.

Guidance Ring builds up energy from precision hits and final blows, up to five Guidance Ring energy. With five pips of Guidance Ring energy, you can hip fire to create a Guidance Ring, a floating circle just in front of you. Firing the Hierarchy of Needs through the ring triggers one of the weapon's other perks, Apollonic Tangent. This has your shots create additional homing projectiles, which seek out enemies. These shots do even more damage from a longer range.

The Hierarchy of Needs is an exotic weapon drop from the new Spire of the Watcher dungeon. Much like other raid and dungeon-specific exotics, you can only get this weapon as a random drop from the final boss of the dungeon. This means getting the weapon is quite difficult, as drops are very rare.

The new Spire of the Watcher dungeon can be farmed, meaning you can complete it as many times as you want and continue to get gear drops each time. However, you only get one chance at the Hierarchy of Needs per week, per character. That means you can maximise your chances by completing the dungeon three times a week on all three of your characters.

That is it for our Destiny 2 Hierarchy of Needs guide. For more on another new exotic weapon, check out our Destiny 2 The Manticore breakdown.
