The Lockwood 300 double-barrel shotgun is an absolute beast and scores some major damage. It's to the point where we are thinking this weapon might get a balance update at some point.

We're going to need a long-range firearm to balance out the close-range carnage of the Lockwood 300. We'd go with a TAQ-M marksman rifle to kick things off, which gives players the best extremes of long-range and close-range combat options.

Pair this with the Assault perk package with a sprinkling of drill charges and a heartbeat sensor to make this Loadout a well-balanced powerhouse:

The Lockwood 300 is the dad of the 725 that Modern Warfare 2019 brought into our lives, although that cross-map slug round hasn't yet become a problem. Other players may remember this gun as the Olympia too, a Kino Der Toten start weapon. But nonetheless, it's an absolute demon in MW2 and the best Lockwood class is to be feared. 

Although it's a two-chambered shotgun, the Lockwood 300 is a one-shot kill at close-mid ranges and can be devastating with the right attachments. Here, you must start with the Heist Stock Mod to plunder so much speed into the gun, and from there it's simply accuracy, accuracy, accuracy. Oh, and a bit more accuracy.

Best MW2 Lockwood 300 Loadout: Perks And Equipment

A shotgun is a shotgun though, and unless you're running Overkill (which isn't advised as you'll just whip out an AR at the earliest chance and not learn the shotgun craft), you need a good arsenal too. The Side Arm pistol is a great secondary, blessed with speed with you're reloading, and you'll be wanting a stun grenade to make sure you don't get caught popping two fresh rounds into the chamber.

As for perks, Double Time and Fast Hands are critical, while Scavenger or Bomb Squad are good options to complement Overclock. Here, you'll also want Dead Silence. Don't worry about Ghost too much unless you do like to camp a little, as you'll have so much speed your red dot won't serve as anything but a shadow.
