Atomic Heart VDNH Moon Canister Locations

You might want to know the Atomic Heart VDNH Moon Canister locations, as collecting them all allows you to access a room full of chests for a tonne of resources and loot.

Most of the areas in Atomic Heart have side paths and optional locations where you can grab various collectibles or more loot to ensure your survival. Some of these take the form of a moon face, where you need to slot in special canisters to unlock a door, but locating these canisters isn't always easy.

Atomic Heart VDNH Moon Canister Locations

The moon face in the VDNH building can be found after you enter into the big multi-story complex after speaking to the robot behind the desk. It's located on the first level, just above the ground floor, and is difficult to miss., but you will need to defeat a lot of robots in this room before safely getting there. 

Once you find the moon face, you notice three holes where the eyes would be, indicating three missing Moon Cannisters. Here are the locations.

For the first canister, just turn around from the moon face and walk up to the red flowers near the railing. You will find the canister on top of the flowers.

For the second canister, head into the room on the left of the moon face. You'll see a save point in front of you if you want to use it, but follow the path to the right, and you will find a dead body holding a canister.

For the third one, straight after picking up the second canister, speak to the other dead body on the floor, lying next to the door. After a brief conversation, they will open up the nearby door for you. 

Go through the door and follow the corridor up the stairs and into a large room with a big plant in the middle. Once you enter, you will be ambushed by a bunch of flying drones, so take them all out first.

Once the room is clear, head to the chest near the big plant in the middle, and you will find the third Moon Canister. 

After collecting all three Moon Canisters, head back to the moon face and slot them all inside. The door to your right will now open up, allowing you inside to collect all the loot from the various chests. 

In addition to the chests inside, there is also a Chirper audio log for you to collect.
