God of War: Ragnarok is giving the rest of the gaming industry a run for its money. The conclusion to Kratos' good dad saga has been long expected to be one of the year's very best games - taking everything from the original game and improving it tenfold.

With our own review pending, it's clear to see when looking out at the reviews from others that it's making Elden Ring quake in its boots when it comes to awards season. Ragnarok could be about to make critical history. And, it's not just the professionals who have their opinions on the game.

xQc Shares His Opinions On God Of War Ragnarok

Felix "xQc" Lengyel is known as the divisive but super-popular streamer. He's now shared his thoughts on the brand-new God of War game, and safe to say, he's got a lot of praise for the title.

Though it's not his usual bag for streams, instead focussing on the likes of Overwatch 2 and Modern Warfare 2, xQc has told his chat exactly what he thinks of the new game from Santa Monica Studio, with plenty of love.

"I'll give it a 9.3 out of 10," said xQc, "I'll give it a 9.3, just because of certain stuff. I can't give a game a 10, and I don't want to give it a 9.5. A 10 doesn't exist for me, and 9.5 is near perfection, right?" Expanding on what's wrong here, xQc concluded, "9.3 because there's just a couple of things here and there, like going back to a bunch of places – I don't like doing that. Going back to the same areas a little bit. Even from the other game."

God Of War Is One Of Metacritics's Best Games Ever

Already, God of War Ragnarok has been crushing it online. No more than a few days from launch and it has landed comfortably on Metacritic's top charts at number 89 with a 94 Metacritic score, just behind Bioshock. Given that 2018's God of War is held as the best game of all time by some, are you really surprised?

For the final chapter of the Norse saga to be considered alongside the masterpieces of the video game industry is an incredible achievement. If it's won over streamers like xQc - who has a habit of nitpicking - we're truly onto a winner. Santa Monica Studio does it again.
