Imagine you became so famous for your work as a video game voice actor that all it needs for a room to erupt in cheers is to growl the word "boy."

Furthermore, you've had a successful career as a screen actor in several large productions. As the live-action God of War series is picked up for production by Amazon Prime Video, all the paths your career has led you down come together in this one role.

Destiny has given you a shot at your magnum opus, and you've publically announced that you are willing to take the opportunity.

And yet, from the corner of the room, a loud group is demanding someone else, namely retired WWE wrestler Paul "Triple H" Levesque to get the role because… he looks more like the pixels of the fictional character Kratos, I guess?

Will Christopher Judge Play Kratos

That has been the life of actor Christopher Judge, who many will remember for his performance as the Jaffa warrior Teal’c in Stargate SG-1 in the early 2000s.

Of course, there's Triple H's aforementioned performance as the voice of Kratos after the immensely successful reboot of God of War.

And so, Judge responded to a fan's tweet that took issue with the suggestion of Triple H as the shoo-in for Kratos and rather suggested him for the role, given… that he has played the character for over half a decade now.

The actor kept it short and sweet and simply agreed with the statement, also stating that he's open for the role and that the nomination of Triple H is a bit of an affront to Judge's accolades.

Triple H Because…?

The lack of acting experience outside Levesque's wrestling persona doesn’t seem to deter fans much, as they have been voting Triple H as the foremost candidate on a couple of online polls over the interwebs.

Outside an admittedly significant facial similarity, Triple H seems remarkably underqualified for a role that won’t be able to be carried by any extensive dialogue that could give his character life. Kratos isn't a god of many words, and he will instead be judged by the non-verbal performance of his actor.

One valid concern that fans raised is the probably required amount of sheer physicality that the role requires to pull off. With both Triple H and Judge being far into their 50s, one may wonder if their physical representation can be or indeed should be brought up to the demands of the character by the time the series picks up production, as it is unlikely to be done by "natural" means.

So far, there is no telling if either of them will be invited to the casting process, presumably because of the amount of fan attention going around for both of them, one would expect the studio to notice.
