Timothy "TimTheTatman" Betar has become the latest name to be added to the long list of gaming streamers who are just not enjoying Warzone's new Pacific map, Caldera

The countdown to Caldera had Warzone players on the edge of their seats in the leadup to its highly-anticipated release. However, while some players have found the idyllic paradise to be the perfect location for a first-person shooter, others not so much. In fact, a number of Battle Royale streamers have all come out and criticised the update for having a negative impact on Warzone

One example, is TimTheTatman who has shared that he is not a huge fan of the new Pacific map and that it is actually 'ruining' Warzone, a game he loves so well.

What Doesn't TimTheTatman Like About Caldera?

Approximately two and a half hours into his playthrough of Warzone, TimTheTatman stopped to ask what his chat thought about Caldera and was surprised to find that his fans were enjoying the new map. However, the YouTube star revealed that he 'wasn't there' and was not enjoying his playthrough, saying that it would have to be an "agree to disagree" situation. TimTheTatman claimed that the game felt a "so much slower" compared to previously and that "there’s this weird lull in the middle of every game where I’m waiting to actually full send at someone. I don’t know. I know that we’ll probably get used to it, but I promise you people won’t like this feeling."

Although, TimTheTatman did go on to admit that perhaps he needed to spend more time with the game and that the fault could possibly be his own, having become too "dependent on loadouts in this game." However, he continued: "I just think it’s a big mistake to make the change. It makes Warzone not feel like Warzone anymore[...] I like the direction the map takes Warzone, a hundred percent". TimTheTatman explained that he liked "the vibrant, bright, jungle theme. But, I can’t get on board with the loadies changes."

Who Else Isn't A Fan Of Caldera?

TimTheTatman isn't the only gaming streamer to have their problems with the new Pacific map and its effect on Warzone. While there are some players who are loving their exploits around the sandy beaches of Caldera, not everyone has had the best reaction to the new map. For example, long-time Call Of Duty player Aydan "Aydan" Conrad even called the game 'embarrassing' and that it feels "like I'm just running up hills and rocks and just die to people sitting on top of them every single death."

TimTheTatman, also, claimed that his friend and fellow Warzone enthusiast, Nick "NICKMERCS" Kolcheff will not enjoy Caldera, which is understandable given how NICKMERCS shared his concerns over changes to the Loadout Drop Markers. Not to mention, Dr Disrespect (A.K.A. Herschel "Guy" Beahm IV) stated that he hated map so much that he was ready to 'uninstall' Warzone altogether.

It's still very early days for Caldera. We can only hope that with so many high-profile Battle Royale names are voicing their concerns over the new maps, these problems might catch the developer's attention. Perhaps, some new and less controversial changes could be on the way to keep both old and new players happy.
