It looks like the Fortnitemares event is finally underway for 2021. Some brand new cosmetics are spilling out into the game and making it even spookier - though the Sideways missions are making the game sinister enough by itself.

Fans have waited long enough to see what kind of cosmetics and event features will be coming to the game, and so far, they’ve been pleased with the outcome. But, a brand new (and very recognisable) face is joining Fortnite to commemorate the spooky season’s arrival.

Coming to Fortnite as a part of the 2021's Halloween event is none other than Rick Grimes, the grizzled ex-cop from The Walking Dead made famous by Andrew Lincoln’s performance. He joins existing The Walking Dead alumni Daryl Dixon and Michonne, and is arriving with a few skins inspired by Universal Monsters.

He comes with his own bundle too, featuring the sheriff’s Duffle Back Bling, Crashing Satellite Glider and Walker Club Pickaxe.

How To Get The Rick Grimes Skin In Fortnite

Rick Grimes in Fortnite is a character many have wanted for some time, but he’s one you’re going to have to fork over for. The character skin by itself can be purchased via the in-game store at 1,500 V-Bucks, or if you want the skin and all of his accompanying items, it’ll cost you 1,900 V-Bucks for the bundle.

Alternatively, if you haven’t got involved with any of the game’s The Walking Dead offerings yet, you can grab a bundle featuring Rick, Daryl and Michonne plus all of their accompanying extras, for only 2,500 V-Bucks.

Rick is a great new addition to the game, and his experiences with the undead are likely to make him a poignant fighter in the battle against the Sideways. He’s no Fishstick, but he’ll do.
