PlayStation Plus may not have made the best first impression, but as time has drawn on and players have had the chance to get to know how the service functions in action, PlayStation fans are beginning to warm to it.

The new revamp, initially expected to compete directly with Game Pass, seems to have found its own path of ignoring the idea of warring with Xbox and is focussing pretty intently on simply keeping players happy. And with the wealth of games on the service, both new and old, it's safe to say that players are appreciating the lineup, whether they're in it to finally play Assassin's Creed Valhalla or to travel back in time for Ape Escape.

But it's going to get even better.

The latest update to PlayStation Plus revealed the arrival of a whole host of Assassin's Creed titles and a couple of classic games coming to the service, but a new blog post from PlayStation focusing on the Ubisoft legacy title's arrival on PS Plus has hinted that there is much, much more to come.

The post from Brittany Spurlin from Ubisoft recapped that Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection (featuring all three games that feature Ezio Auditore de Firenze as the playable protagonist), Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Assassin's Creed Unity, and Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered would be coming to the service on July 19, but also stated that there's more to come. Much more, in fact.

PlayStation Is Planning 50 Ubisoft Titles By 2022's End

"Ubisoft+ Classics initially launched with 27 Ubisoft titles, including Assassin's Creed Valhalla, The Division, and For Honor, as well as classic games like Child of Light, Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, Watch Dogs, and Werewolves Within, with plans to expand the library to include over 50 titles by the end of 2022," reads the post. It's a big promise, but frankly, Ubisoft has the games to see it through.

It's an exciting time to be a fan of Ubisoft's design, especially as rumours have begun to circulate that Far Cry 6 could be making an appearance on the service by the year's end. We'll have to wait and see if the big hitters make their arrival, but in the meantime, Assassin's Creed will be treating us well either way.
