Call of Duty has always been a mature-rated game, despite allowing six-year-old FaZe Clan prodigies to be quick-scoping players on Warzone. Most of the 17+ content does come from the campaign though, given that there are many acts of violence, gore, terrorism, and alcoholism on display. But never adult activities.

We know Modern Warfare 2's main man Captain Price loves a cigar, and maybe even a cheeky beer when he's not too busy infiltrating top-secret bases or blowing enemy vessels into smithereens.

However, it looks like Task Force 141 might be getting a bit raunchy in their downtime this year, as Modern Warfare 2 ratings suggest the game is getting a little bit lewd.

Modern Warfare 2 Ratings Confirm Red-Light District

With the early release of the campaign on the horizon, the ratings have already been submitted to the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB), which detail why Modern Warfare 2 will be 17+.

One of the reasons for their mature rating is a campaign mission in Amsterdam, where, "A red-light district depicts neon signs with female figures advertising 'Live Sex Theater'; other signs reference lingerie, aphrodisiacs, and fetish/S&M costumes," can be viewed.

It's not yet clear as to whether the characters will interact with the Live Sex Theatre in their mooch around Dam, akin to GTA or Cyberpunk, or whether it will be skimmed over in the background.

Call of Duty Hinting At Adult Activities

The franchise has never had any lewd interactions, bar the odd teabagging in multiplayer and a few racy latex costumes.

However, the campaign is clearly hinting toward some form of intimate relations, otherwise, a visit to Amsterdam's Red-Light District would be in poor taste for the campaign.

Maybe Captain Price is scarred by war so much that the only interactions he can have may come from the Red-Light district, or maybe Task Force 141 is on to take down some form of an illegal ring of mobsters in their bid to reach a higher target, much like their run through the drug-torn favelas back in the original Modern Warfare 2.
