Helicopters Are Randomly Blowing Up In Warzone 2
It seems like Warzone 2 is doing everything possible to prevent players from winning games or even having fun.
After a wave of shadowbans ripped through the player base - including Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag - for getting a certain number of kills in a single match, it now appears that players can't even fly helicopters.
New clips have surfaced, showing that helicopters aren't the safe haven you might have thought they were. Apparrently, they're just randomly blowing up in Warzone 2 and sending their pilots straight to the Gulag.
Warzone 2 Helicopters Are Blowing Up For No Reason
Helicopters in Warzone 2 have been quite a nuisance. The Heavy Chopper was removed in December due to them having the ability to fly through buildings and massacre anyone inside of them, and now, standard ones are causing a ruckus.
A viral video on Reddit has now shown that helicopters are turning into a ball of fire in mid-air for simply flying... killing anyone that's in the airborne vehicle at the time.
Usual reasons for choppers exploding stem from RPGs, JOKR missiles, colliding with buildings, secret C4s being planted, being shot down with 100 bullets, or crash landing.
Yet with this clip, none of the above appears to happen, so why does it just spontaneously combust?
Why Are Warzone 2 Choppers Spontaneously Combusting?
The manner in which this chopper crashes and blows up seems to suggest that it flew into an invisible hitbox, such as a tree or a building.
Even though the helicopter was at a height where this wouldn't be a problem, it wouldn't be the first time this glitch has cropped up.
This was also an issue from the early Warzone days too. One Reddit comment remembered this, saying, "There's an old Verdansk clip way back of the same invisible hitbox in the air issue. This company keep on making the same exact mistakes."
The glitch has yet to be picked up by the developers, with the Trello board of known exploits not being updated to include this. We guess that in the meantime, pilots best watch out for invisible hit boxes...
