You won, hackers. Enjoy the money, I hope it makes you happy. Dear lord, what a sad little life, hackers. You ruined my night completely, so you could have the money and I hope now you can spend it on lessons in grace and decorum. Because you have all the grace of a reversing dump truck without any tyres on. So hackers, take your money and get off my property.

Why can't we just have fun, eh hackers? It's not even been three days since the release of the Overwatch 2 beta and cheaters have landed armed with aimbots and wallhacks ready to crash the launch party. That's right, the beta. The bloody beta tests.

With the large majority of players rejoicing in the rebirth of the franchise, a select few players have already encountered hackers that are ruining the Overwatch 2 beta, and they really suck.

Overwatch 2 players are already encountering hackers

Players have generally enjoyed the Overwatch 2 beta, with the sequel's testing already topping any Twitch viewership records set by the original title, a lot of thanks to Felix "xQc" Lengyel - who himself has already broken the game. With an array of adapted heroes and one new character, players have enjoyed a brand-new 5v5 gameplay, until being a victim of aim hacks.

Taking to Twitter, some players have already shared final killcams of players they've been pitted against, with some more than suspect outcomes.

The clip shared on social media shows someone using Soldier 76 to slay through opposing players with a rifle, instantaneously flicking from one hero to another, including slapping someone out of the sky.

According to the Twitter alias "Anti-Cheat Police Department", there are also cheats for wall-hacks, leaving players to be able to see enemy heroes through walls with a red outline.

The user says, "Hopefully they are detectable and won't last long, I really hope the blizzard anti-cheat department has some good plans to tackle the cheating problem space, or it will just be an unfair competitive environment just like overwatch 1 was."

Despite the hacks being in use, there does only seem to be a handful of players that have encountered them. With hope, Blizzard will have something up their sleeves to combat these sad little hackers.
