When it rains it pours, and for Overwatch 2 content, the heavens are opening. New information about the hero pool is flooding in, and this new wave of detail is whetting the appetite of any tank main.

With a range of adjustments needed to the Tank category following a switch to five versus five gameplay, fans have been widely anticipating how some long-term heroes will be adapted. Some, such as Reinhardt and Roadhog, are coming in with as few tweaks as possible, while the likes of D.Va and Winston are in need of some TLC.

Just after the Sojourn's full kit was revealed, Blizzard Entertainment has now unveiled the Overwatch 2 Doomfist and Orisa reworks in full.

Overwatch 2 Doomfist Reworks Revealed

Doomfist is now officially a tank in Overwatch 2, and has received an optimistic boost of health to 450hp. With this switch, his Uppercut ability has now been replaced by a new Power Block, alongside having his remaining skills rejigged.

Hand Cannon

Compared to the original variant of Doomfist's Hand Cannon, it will now have a reduced damage output, coming down from six to five, per pellet, although he will replenish ammo quicker.

Power Block [New]

The brand-new ability will add more defence to Doomfist's kit by protecting him from frontal attacks. Each block will also charge his Rocket Punch.

Rocket Punch

As his more attractive ability, the Rocket Punch has also been reduced in power, although you'll get access to it more frequently. The impact damage has now been reduced to 15-30 while the Wall Slam damage will now be 20-40. Effective use of the Power Block though will charge the ability giving you more usage of Rocket Punch.

Seismic Slam

With more mobility needed comes a Winston-esque leap change to the Seismic Slam, which will now also cause damage and slow down enemies.

Meteor Strike [Ultimate]

Even Doomfist's Ultimate has been reduced in power, although it can cripple enemy mobility. Meteor Strike now slows all enemies hit while his outer ring damage is reduced to 100-15.

Overwatch 2 Orisa Reworks Revealed

Orisa's Overwatch 2 rework is more full-on compared to Doomfist, as her Protective Barrier, Halt!, and Supercharger abilities have all been removed.

Augmented Fusion Driver

Instead of having a weapon filled with ammo, the Fusion Driver now uses a heat mechanic and rapidly fires the projectiles that are most powerful up close.

Energy Javelin [New]

The Energy Javelin will suck the life out of enemies by causing a heavy stun once impaled. The Javelin is most effective when spearing enemies into walls and other objects.

Fortify

Fortify still works in the same way, however, the ability now also gains 125 temporary health and reduces the heat cooldown on the Fusion Driver.

Javelin Spin [New]

The Energy Javelin will be spun rounding in the air to guard against projectiles, increase movement speed, and also push enemies out of the way.

Terra Surge [New Ultimate]

The Terra Surge will sweep in enemies to closer proximity, while also receiving the buffs of Fortify and improving the damage of the Fusion Driver.

Both of the Overwatch 2 Doomfist and Orisa reworks will alter the Tank pool, with an emphasis on mobility and stunning, whilst also making them much more frantic heroes rather than accurate and powerful.
