The Call of Duty franchise has created some iconic characters in the past decade and more. Whichever side of the fight that they have stood on, the operators have become quite a hit with the fans and have become some of the most renowned protagonists and antagonists in the gaming industry.

Call of Duty: Vanguard might not have birthed any great villains or heroes this time around, but over the last fifteen years, the franchise has blessed us with some badass baddies, and now Vanguard is doing the most villainous thing by stealing them.

Primed from both the Black Ops storyline, the Modern Warfare quests, and the Warzone lore, a range of the most evil miscreants are coming to Vanguard.

Vanguard Season 5 Set To Add Four Iconic Call Of Duty Villains As Operators

As we've surpassed the halfway mark of Season 4, Vanguard's lifeline is coming to a close. However, they're looking to go down in a blaze of glory, as leaks suggest the four new operators to come are Raul Menendez, Gabriel Rorke, Khaled Al Asad, and Seraph.

Popular leaker "Reality" dropped the secret on social media, although it's expected that at least one of the operators will only be available through a Modern Warfare 2 pre-order freebie.

All four of the operators that are set to join Vanguard have been the main antagonist in a game throughout the franchise's history, and will likely make for sweet killing in multiplayer.

Who Are The Vanguard Season 5 Baddies?

Raul Menendez will come as the most well-known name on the list, having been the Nicaraguan drug lord in Black Ops 2 that sparred with the likes of Alex Mason and Frank Woods.

Gabriel Rorke might be the worst baddy in the history of Call of Duty, albeit having only played one role in Ghosts. The former Ghost himself turned bounty hunter dons the second-worst betrayal of the series (behind Shepherd, of course), and will be a joy to kill in your multiplayer games.

Alike Menendez, Al Asad is from one of the main storylines, and has been a conniving commander of the Ultranationalists in the Modern Warfare franchise.

Seraph might be the lesser-known character in the lineup, coming in from Black Ops 3 and 4, although her Annihilator pistol is well known for being one of the more brutal executions from the futuristic instalments.

It's not yet clear which characters will come in as MW2 pre-order freebies and who will be a battlepass guarantee, but it's going to be quite a hit with fans who will find much solace in portraying the villain or slaying them hundreds of times over.
