Caldera has well and truly been the nail in Warzone's coffin. It might not be the most disastrous landscape that could have been designed, but it certainly wasn't great, and having been the focal point for many people quitting Warzone, there are calls for Verdansk to return - and big ones at that.

Verdansk was the bee's knees of maps in Warzone. For their first try, the developers hit the nail on the head with their design and layout, and ever since its departure, Warzone has never been the same.

Now, fans are begging the developers for Verdansk's return before Warzone finally dies, and even NASA are jumping on the bandwagon.

NASA Tells Elon Musk They Want Verdansk Back

Interchanging on social media with rocket mogul Elon Musk, Chris Bergin, Managing Director of NASA Space Flight, confessed his love for Warzone, saying that it was his go-to game over the last year or two.

The NASA representative also claimed that Verdansk was his guilty pleasure, although Warzone was only fun while the map was relevant.

Bergin also added that he enjoyed Plunder, the game mode with unlimited respawns, rather than the core battle royale mode.

Is Verdansk Coming Back To Warzone?

The discussion around Verdansk has escalated quite heavily over the past week, with the development of Warzone 2 on the rise.

Despite NASA flying the flag for its return though, developers previously told fans that the original landscape will not be coming back, although there is room for Warzone Mobile to wrangle a Verdansk port in

Unless NASA is using their extensive network to tell us something that we're not supposed to know, Verdansk has been left in the past, and we can only hope that Warzone 2 has an equally engaging battleground.
