Elden Ring fans are still clamouring for more and more runes. It's standard stuff, really - the in-game currency for upgrading your Tarnished's abilities is vastly sought after, seemingly never running out of importance in any journey across The Lands Between.

With Elden Ring players searching for rune farms, they are resorting to cheesing the game in order to get their fix. A Sleeping Dragon bug has led a lot of players to collect big sums of runes over and over again, with a little effort - but now, there's a more efficient hack that's letting players bag 40k a minute.

What Is The Latest Elden Ring Rune Farm?

One bug that has been discovered in the new patch to Elden Ring has led players to discover a huge rune farm opportunity, with one course of action helping the Tarnished bag themselves about 175,000 Runes.

The bug has been discovered at Mohgwyn Palace, which is a common spot for similar bugs. Another popular rune farming spot was found with one of the birds that lives there. This latest bug was shared to the Elden Ring subreddit by u/5starvillain, who takes players through the whole process.

How To Use The Elden Ring Moghgwyn Palace Rune Farm

If you want to take advantage of the Rune farm before it's inevitably patched, head to Moghgwyn with the Golden Scarab item and trek up the hill, hopping up the cliffs. It'll probably be easiest to do on the back of Torrent if you're struggling.

Go southwest over the cliffs, until you reach the edge of the map. Jump. Once you've done that, you'll earn a small number of runes after a minute or so. Fast travel back to the Palace Approach Site of Grace, and you'll have earned about 175,000 Runes when you land. This is an easy way to make sure you're more than prepared to take on Starscourge Radahn or Malenia with a little more punch.

It's a great bug for those who need to top up on their runes - but not such good news for FromSoftware and its policy against being outsmarted. Get to work before it gets patched. Be warned though, we've already seen karma bite some rune farmers in the backside, so don't say we didn't warn you.
