Call of Duty fans have been waiting patiently to see what crossover would grace the battlefields of Vanguard since the game's launch, and leaks have suggested some interesting details.

The game had two real options - to dedicate to its setting and make its crossover characters people from the game's era, or to go absolutely bonkers with its IP selections and make the game a cacophony of recognisable characters, à la Fortnite.

But, strangely, Vanguard's first crossover has been revealed, and come with the revelation that really, they've done both.

Call Of Duty Officially Reveals Attack On Titan Skin

The first crossover skin for Vanguard has finally been officially revealed, and it turns out that Levi from the Attack on Titan anime series will be joining the battle very soon with his own bundle.

It's an incredibly bizarre crossover, but with the second part of Attack on Titan's final series just seeing its release, it's no surprise that Sledgehammer Games would want to capitalise on the hugely popular series.

The skin was revealed in a short video, that has been posted to PlayStation's Twitter, along with details of the full pack that comes with his associated items.

Fans have so far, reacted with complete puzzlement, and many are utterly baffled by Levi Ackerman's arrival in Vanguard. Reasonable.

Call Of Duty Fans Roast New Attack On Titan Skin

Fans are questioning Call of Duty's foresight sith this new crossover, suggesting it breaks down the "realism" of the game.

Fans are questioning Call of Duty's foresight sith this new crossover, suggesting it breaks down the "realism" of the game. Someone simply said, "This is cursed." Another added, "Fortnite should've been the ones to handle this one," while a third concluded, "They could have made him look a lot better though that ain't Levi that's Lenny."

The bundle is undeniably strange - but chances are it'll do wonders for Call of Duty and Attack on Titan fans alike, despite the audience crossover being incredibly small. If this is where we're going, Neon Genesis Evangelion skins next please, Sledgehammer.
