Atlanta FaZe is a top three Call of Duty team of all-time, whether you class them as a Dynasty along the prime OpTic Gaming and compLexity rosters or pit them as the best of the rest. However, after a trophyless season in Vanguard, the organisation has decided to drop two-time world champion Alec "Arcitys" Sanderson.

Going into Modern Warfare 2, Arcitys has left Atlanta FaZe in favour of a new project at Los Angeles Guerrillas, after reportedly being scapegoated by the rest of the roster.

Now, Arcitys has broken down some of their main issues and claimed that "no trust" and "no respect" were FaZe's main downfalls and why they lost five grand finals in a row.

Arcitys Blames FaZe Downfall On Trust And Respect issues

After leaving FaZe, Arcitys took to social media to give his opinion on the downfall of the roster. "The best thing I can say is I think I needed this change. We weren't a team/squad last year, no trust and no respect. I'm still trying to figure out why," said Arcitys.

The lack of trust might have come from a mid-season role swap, where McArthur "Cellium" Jovel took over Arcitys' Assault Rifle role, pushing him into a flex role.

Arcitys originally joined FaZe in order to lead the Assault Rifle category for once, after being hindered to a secondary position behind James "Clayster" Eubanks at eUnited and Matthew "FormaL" Piper at Chicago Huntsmen.

Arcitys Secures Huge 3-year Contract With Los Angeles Guerrillas

Arcitys signed with Los Angeles Thieves to round off a roster including former world champions Cuyler "Huke" Garland, Stage 2 MVP Kris "Spart" Cervantez, and comfortable flex Travis "Neptune" McCloud. Both Arcitys and Spart have been signed on a three-year deal (pending league approval), becoming the first players to receive the new CDL contract benefits.

The deal was also set to include a huge buyout fee for Arcitys, who was a restricted agent under FaZe. Alec took to Twitter to reveal that a previous tweet from Spart was quite decisive in his decision, where his new teammate claimed that "your team is supposed to be your unit", also acting as a back-handed dig at FaZe, who clearly wasn't operating as a unit.

For Los Angeles Guerrillas, they now come into the season with a squad capable of challenging the best teams, their best chance since the start of the CDL.
