All hail the ASMR queen because Kaitlyn "Amouranth" Siragusa has just been crowned Twitch's most popular female streamer of 2021.

As one of the platform's most famous streamers, Amouranth has conquered the Twitch-verse with her ASMR streams. Going from everything from mic-licking, to hot tubs, and even Twister, Amouranth has continuously tried to find creative and unique content to keep her fans happy.

Now, Amouranth's work has officially paid off as the streamer has been revealed as the most popular female Twitch streamer of 2021.

When Was Amouranth Crowned Twitch's Most Popular Female Streamer?

Amouranth was officially announced as Twitch's most popular female streamer on January 7 before the streamer shared the exciting news via her Twitter page. According to Streams Charts, 38.96 Million hours of Amouranth's videos were viewed between January 1 -December 31, 2021. In doing so, she beat the likes of some of the most popular streamers across the Amazon-owned platform, including Imane "Pokimane" Anys and Leslie "Fuslie" Fu.

The news may come as a surprise given how Amouranth has been banned from Twitch on multiple occasions throughout the year. So much so that there were worries that she might be banned indefinitely. Not to mention, she just missed out Twitch's highest-earning streamer in 2021 after that title was given to German DJ Anika "Sintica" F. However, the stats don't lie and with Amouranth consistently making headlines across the industry, it's clear she is just as popular as ever.

Does Amouranth Have A Twitch Contract?

The news that Amouranth is Twitch's most popular female streamer prompted an outpouring of congratulatory messages from her fans. However, fans were surprised to learn during an interview with YouTuber Ludwig "Ludwig" Ahgren on January 6, that Amouranth doesn't even have a contract with Twitch, despite her huge following.

Amouranth also shared her opinion on the whole MasterChef meta which is taking Twitch by storm, at the moment. In the interview, she claimed that she would be at risk by streaming DMCA content in her videos and that "while people who have contracts with Twitch and stuff, or are favoured heavily by Twitch, might be able to get away with that, I feel like it's too risky for me to do it." Oh, and just as a side note she stated that she tried to buy superstar Rihanna's house in Los Angeles for $6.9 million. No doubt, the queen of RnB's home would have been the perfect palace for the queen of Twitch.
