Shaggy, of Scooby-Doo fame, has undergone a dramatic cultural transformation over the last few years.

Once the perpetually hungry, perpetually zooted sidekick to Scooby-Doo, Shaggy has since become a cultural phenomenon with a series of memes reimagining Matthew Lillard's Shaggy as an all-seeing, all-knowing, omnipotent god. Simpler times.

Ever since it's become hard to disconnect the image of Shaggy from the idea that he's an immensely powerful combatant and ethereal figure - and it seems that modders feel the same, as Shaggy has made it into Soclap's recently released kung-fu action game - Sifu.

Shaggy Makes It To Sifu

As will be no surprise to anyone, Shaggy has finally had a chance to show off his martial art prowess in a brand new mod for Sifu, no more than two weeks after the game has been officially released.

Created by Nexus Mods user Claymaver, the mod features a custom character model that kits him out in his iconic green v-neck and baggy brown cargo trousers. The video that accompanies the mod shows off Shaggy taking on the game's first boss, effortlessly blocking each of their attacks and claiming victory without ever being so angry as to fight back. What a unit.

Though, this isn't the first time that the Shaggy meme has made it into video games.

Omnipotent Shaggy Isn't New To Video Games

Shaggy has appeared, full power intact, in fighting games before. His most notable appearance was at the beginning of a Warner Bros animated Mortal Kombat movie, as well as appearing in the game franchise as a mod.

The same goes for the likes of Street Fighter and Jump Force, and the all-powerful god will also be officially joining Warner Bros' Multiversus, where he'll be battling Jake The Human and Harley Quinn alike to prove his mettle.

Shaggy simply can't be stopped, and it's clear that he's an absolute unit in Sifu too. We can't blame that first boss for the look on his face, because we wouldn't want to face him either.
