Wild Hearts Release Time: Early Access & EA Play Trial Details
Wild Hearts will launch this month on current-gen consoles and PC, but you may have missed that you can play the game early.
Since it’s an EA-published game, Wild Hearts offers an EA Play trial for subscribers to EA’s service or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Here’s when you can play, and what’s included.

Wild Hearts will launch on PS5, Xbox Series S and X, and PC on the 16th or 17th of February depending on your timezone/
Here’s the full release information for the Standard Edition and Karakul Edition preorders.
- Console: PS5 and Xbox players will get access at midnight in their timezone on February 17.
- PC PC players can start playing at 15:00 UTC/07:00 PT on February 16.
How To Play Wild Hearts Free Trial Early
As per the game’s site, if you’re an EA Play subscriber on PlayStation, Xbox or PC, or are an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, you’ll be able to download and install the game even earlier.
Console and PC players can start playing Wild Hearts' early access trial at 15:00 UTC/07:00 PT on February 13, meaning you can skip Valentines Day entirely and just slay some big beasts with your loved one instead.
To take advantage of this, make sure you’re subscribed to EA Play on your platform of choice and simply download the game as you normally would. You won’t need to purchase the game, either.
What’s Included In The Wild Hearts Early Access Trial?
So far, all we know is that players will be able to play “up to the gates of Minato” as part of the early access trial of Wild Hearts. EA Play trials traditionally offer ten hours of gameplay, but if anything is different we’ll update this page accordingly.
