There are many Vampire Survivors weapon evolutions you can make use of, allowing you to evolve a weapon to a much stronger version using a passive item as a catalyst. Vampire Survivors is one of the big indie hits of 2022, and it's easy to see why the fast-paced bullet hell mayhem where you kill hordes of enemies has gripped the attention of many players. If you're wanting to improve your time on levels by getting stronger weapons, check out our list of the Vampire Survivors weapon evolutions.

Evolving weapons is a key part of creating the best builds and surviving for the longest in Vampire Survivors, but to reach a weapon evolution, you will need to meet some criteria first. Weapon evolutions typically occur by combining two weapons, though there are some exceptions. Combining two weapons together is a called a union, and two combinations will grant you gifts instead of evolving the weapon.

You need to start by levelling up your weapon or weapons to the max (you won't need to level a passive item except for some rare cases) and then collect a treasure chest. These can be found by defeating bosses that spawn after ten minutes in most stages. After opening the chest, it will grant you an evolved weapon instead of the usual random upgrade, which will remove the base weapon. If your weapon evolution is a unification of two other weapons, both of these will be removed, however, passive items aren't removed from your inventory after an evolution.
