In Tower of Fantasy, players can get Black Gold via the game's gacha, Special Orders. The game has multiple gacha currencies like Gold, Red, and Black Nucleus, Dark Crystals, Special Vouchers, Proof of Purchase, and others. However, gacha pulls performed using Gold Nucleus are the only ones that reward players with Black Gold.
Every gacha pull you perform on the Weapon's Special Order banner, say Choice Weapons - Weapons Galore; you get a single Black Gold. Assume you perform 20 gacha pulls using the Gold Nucleus. You will get 20 Black Gold in return - one Black Gold for each pull.

A more expensive way to earn Black Gold in Tower of Fantasy is when Flame Gold expires. So, you might be wondering what is Flame Gold. Flame Gold is a gacha currency in Tower of Fantasy that players obtain when they perform gacha pulls on the limited-time Special Order banners using Red Nucleus. Why do we say this is an expensive way? Because you can get Gold Nucleus for free. But Red Nucleus is mainly obtained from microtransactions.

Black Gold serves as a Pity in Tower of Fantasy's gacha. It allows players to get upgrade materials, SR, and SSR weapons directly from the weapon store. Suppose you are performing gacha pulls on the weapon's banner, and you are not lucky enough to get an SR or SSR weapon of your choice. The Black Gold earned with each pull can be used to get the desired SR and SSR weapon from the Weapon's Store, granted - they are featured on the said store.
