The Last of Us Part 1 is a modern rendition of the original The Last of Us that was released for the PlayStation 3 in 2013. The Last of Us Part 1 has been entirely rebuilt for the PlayStation 5, with enhanced visual fidelity, fully integrated DualSense™ wireless controller features, and all the latest PS5 engine technology.

The Last of Us Part 1 isn't your typical remake or remaster. Naughty Dog went all out in an effort to modernise the original experience with improved gameplay mechanics, controls and extra accessibility options.

Though, there are some conditions. The Last of Us Part 1 free trial is exclusive to PlayStation 5 owners with a PlayStation Plus Premium subscription.

If you're eligible to download The Last of Us Part 1 free trial, you can get it straight from the PlayStation Store. Seek out The Last of Us Part 1 in the PlayStation Store on your PS5, and instead of purchasing the title, select the "Game Trial" option. Now, download it!

You will have two hours to decide if The Last of Us Part 1 is something you want to invest in. If you do decide to purchase the title that inspired The Last of Us television series, you can continue right where you left off without starting over from the beginning.
