League of Legends: Wild Rift 2.1a Patch Update: New Champions, Skins, And More
Riot Games releases regular patch updates for League of Legends: Wild Rift to keep the players engaged and implement balance changes to various champions to keep the game fair to everyone. Recently, the League of Legends: Wild Rift 2.1a update has been announced, and will be introducing new champion Katarina, who was revealed with the announcement of Season 1 of the game.
In addition to this, champions including Ashe, Darius, Ola, Lulu, and more have been balanced. Here are the complete details of all the upcoming content in League of Legends: Wild Rift 2.1a update.
New League Of Legends: Wild Rift Champion
Katarina, The Sinister Blade
Click to enlargeKatarina, Eldest daughter to the legendary General Du Couteau, is a Noxian champion and plays the role of an assassin in League of Legends: Wild Rift. She is decisive in judgment and lethal in combat and has the ability to take down enemies swiftly.
Although the exact date of availability of the new champion is unknown, it will be coming with a new event called Katarina’s Challenge event, in which you can get her for free by completing various missions. Riot will be releasing more details about the event at a later date.
New League Of Legends: Wild Rift Skins
Click to enlargeWith the recent 2.1a patch update, seven new champion skins will be released throughout the patch, and all the future skins will be released in the next patch update, 2.1b. Here is the list of all seven new champion skins:
- Bilgewater Katarina
- Death Sworn Katarina
- Omega Squad Fizz
- Omega Squad Teemo
- Omega Squad Tristana
- El Tigre Braum
- Super Galaxy Shyvana
League Of Legends: Wild Rift Balance Changes
Riot Games earlier announced that they would be releasing balance patch updates every two weeks. Here is the list of all the balance changes that have been made to different champions in League of Legends: Wild Rift 2.1a update:
- Ashe - Cooldown Reduction in Ranger’s Focus
- Darius - Decimate and Apprehend have been buffed
- Ezreal - After the nerf, Mystic Shot was looking pretty weak. Hence, it has been buffed
- Lulu - Since the introduced the win rate of Lulu has been bothering everyone; hence has been nerfed in this patch
- Miss Fortune - The baseline defence, along with love tap, have been nerfed
- Olaf (Has been adjusted)
- Varus (Has been buffed)
- Vayne (Has been buffed)
- Xayah (Has been buffed)
Along with these champions, a few items have also been through balance changes, and here is a list of them:
- Blade Of The Ruined King (Has been nerfed)
- Liandry’s Torment (Has been nerfed)
- Haunting Guise (Has been adjusted)
