How to Perform a Stealth Kill in Hogwarts Legacy

First and foremost, this isn't technically a stealth kill - more of a stealth incapacitation by using the stunning spell, Petrificus Totalus. Nevertheless, it's still permanent in terms of gameplay combat and is essential for situations where you need to be discreet whilst fighting nefarious enemies.

To perform a Hogwarts Legacy stealth kill, you'll first need to mask your presence with an invisibility spell and crouch to make yourself completely quiet. Then, gently sneak up on an enemy and press the Square button (X on Xbox/X on PC) as prompted on screen. 

You'll hear your character cast Petrificus Totalus, and your target will fall and lie on the ground like a stiff board. Of course, you could still perform a stealth kill without the invisibility spell by sneaking up from behind whilst crouching, but it's still best to do this whilst invisible to remove the high risk of being easily spotted.
